Description
Portraits and self-portraits in mixed media. After drawing several from observation, I reinterpreted a self-portrait in monochrome using only shades of blue — focusing on tone, contrast, expression, and the way a limited palette can still communicate depth and emotion.
Working on portraits sharpened the kind of attention later carried into architectural drawing: looking carefully, measuring proportionally, and choosing what to record and what to let go.
